Refunds
The short version: if LumaKeys isn’t for you, you get your money back within 14 days. No forms, no hoops.
The money-back guarantee
Buy LumaKeys, try it properly on your own setup, and if it doesn’t fit the way you play or learn, email ramon@lumakeys.app within 14 days of purchase. You’ll get a full refund — no questionnaire, no “have you tried turning it off and on again.” It helps me if you tell me what didn’t work, but it’s not a condition.
When a refund is issued, your license key is deactivated and the Pro features lock again. The free version keeps working.
How it’s processed
LumaKeys purchases are handled by Polar as merchant of record — Polar is the seller for the transaction and processes the refund back to your original payment method. You don’t need to contact Polar yourself: email me and I’ll trigger it. Refunds usually land within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Your statutory rights (EU)
If you’re a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For instant digital downloads like LumaKeys, the checkout asks for your express consent to immediate delivery, and you acknowledge that starting the download ends that withdrawal right — that’s the standard mechanism EU law provides for digital content (Art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive; § 356 Abs. 6 BGB in Germany).
That legal fine print is exactly why the money-back guarantee above exists: whatever boxes you ticked at checkout, you’re covered for the full 14 days. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights — including your statutory warranty rights if the app is defective, which apply independently of any guarantee and beyond its window.
Something broken instead?
If you want a refund because something doesn’t work, consider emailing me first — most issues get fixed within days, and I’d rather fix the app than lose a pianist. But it’s your call, and the guarantee stands either way.
